WHY SIREN ?

What is the significance of the name?

Alerting Signal: A Siren is also a device that makes a loud prolonged signal or warning sound. The app functions similarly, by alerting teens to potential risks in their online conversations.

Lure of the Deep: The name "Siren" evokes the mythical creatures that lured sailors to their demise. This metaphorically represents the dangers that lurk online, disguised as seemingly harmless interactions.

What is the significance of the logo?

Mermaid: The mermaid in the logo symbolizes the deceptive nature of online predators. They may appear friendly and inviting, just like a mermaid, but their intentions can be harmful.

White Orb: The white orb cradled by the mermaid represents the protective power of the app. It scans conversations, acting as a beacon that illuminates potential dangers and keeps teens safe.
